Interlibrary Loans
PPLD's Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is offered to patrons of our Library District.
If an item is not available in our Catalog, we can order it from other libraries across Colorado and the United States.
The ILL service can be used for items older than 1 year, including articles, journals, and materials about less common
subject matters. Some lending libraries do not offer media other than print. Although the ILL service is free through
PPLD, lending libraries may request a fee for materials from their collections.
- We no longer accept ILL requests from CLC patrons (card numbers that start with '700').
CLC cardholders are advised to place ILL requests through their home library.
- There is a 10 item limit on all ILL requests.

The ILL system relies on the generosity of the lending library, which determines the lending provisions,
such as loan period. If an item is found in Colorado, it will take 3 to 6 weeks to arrive. If the item is not found in
Colorado and must be requested from an out-of-state library, it could take up to 8 weeks before it arrives and you are
notified.
Please call PPLD's ILL Department at (719) 531-6333 x2317 if you have questions about the status of your request.
